The Priesthood of Our Lord

1. Ⓐ Brethren, pow’r by earthly standards Ⓑ Comes by rank or wealth or sword; Ⓒ But the pow’r above all others Ⓓ Is the priesthood of our Lord.

2. Ⓐ It is ours, the total armor Ⓑ Priesthood held by Christ, our Lord— Ⓒ If, as brethren, we are worthy Ⓓ Of the Spirit’s whispered word.

3. Ⓐ Let us venture forth in freedom Ⓑ With the priesthood as our guide— Ⓒ Deacons, teachers, priests, and elders, Ⓓ Seeking virtue side by side.
