All Hail the Glorious Day (Choir)
All Hail the Glorious Day (Choir)
1. All hail the glorious day,By prophets long foretold,When, with harmonious lay,The sheep of Israel’s foldOn Zion’s hill His praise proclaim,And shout hosanna to his name.
2. When Israel from afarAnd Judah scattered wideShall to their land repair,And there in peace abide,Directed by Jehovah’s hand,Shall dwell in peace in Zion’s land.
3. From Zion’s heavenly mountShall healing waters flow,And near this holy fountWill trees immortal growWhose heavenly balm the kingdoms feel,Whose leaves will all the nations heal.
4. Jerusalem shall beOur great Redeemer’s throne,O’er all the earth and sea,His glory be made known;Messiah, kings and nations greetAnd lay their honors at his feet.
5. Strike, strike the golden lyre,And ye his angels sing;Let joy your bosoms fireAnd heaven with glory ring; From earth and air and sea and skiesLet our Redeemer’s praise arise.
