Morning Thanksgiving

1. Let us join in a song in the morning, Praising the Lord for the light of day, For the sunshine the earth now adorning, Chasing the darkness of night away; Let us join with all living nature, Sing the happiness of our hearts; Grateful prove to our Father in heaven, For all the blessings he doth impart.

2. Praise him for the beloved companions That now surround us with faces bright; Praise him, too, for the health which he gives us, Filling our being with glad delight; For the teachers who kindly teach us Useful things for our constant good; Thank him too that he never neglects us, Giving us comforts and daily food.
