All Verses

1. Viņš mira, Glābējs nomira!Un Dieva ļaudis raudāja,Aiz bēdām zeme trīcējaZem dziļas tumsas aizsega.

2. Ak, svētie, lejiet asaras!Viņš nesis mūsu ciešanasUn Savas svētās asinisPar mūsu grēkiem izlējis.

3. Tik ļoti Viņš mūs mīlēja,Ka skaudrās sāpēs nomira.Te pēkšņi nāca līksma vēsts —Ir augšāmcēlies Dieva Dēls!

4. Ak, nāve, kur tavs dzelonis?Tas Kungs ir kapu atstājisUn, Debess pulku pavadīts,Pie Tēva kāpis debesīs.
