1. “Let the little children come,
unto me, unto me,”
Listen to the Savior’s plea,
“Let the children come to me.”
2. Favored little ones were they,
who toward Him, Jesus drew,
Who within His arms He took,
just as loving parents do.
Christ the Lord! Our living head.
This, of little children said,
“Such shall of my kingdom be
Suffer them to come to me.”
3. Jesus claims the children’s love,
He loves them as of old;
Jesus calls from heav’n above,
“Feed my lambs and guard the fold.”
When the little children pray,
Jesus is not far away;
Jesus wants the children near,
Listen! to His voice so clear.
4. Children:"Let the little children come,
SATB: Jesus claims the children’s love;
Children: unto me, unto me,”
SATB: He loves them as of old,
Children: Listen to the Savior’s plea,
SATB: Jesus calls from heav’n above,
Children: “Let the children come to me.
SATB: “Feed by lambs and guard the fold.”
When the little children pray,
Jesus is not far away,
Jesus wants the children near;
Listen to His voice so clear.
Listen, oh listen,
Listen to His voice co clear.
“Let the little children come to me.”
